V USA Made feature! I’ll get some beauty shots off of this one later. Oh man I had a fun time slicing stuff with this one! The “Meanstreak” by Sharp Bros is a 100% USA-made frame lock folder that features a titanium handle and MagnaCut steel blade. I ran it through some rounds on my sharpness tester and it registered an average of 133g pressure to cut the string, (which is extremely sharp). Usually don’t see this kind of sharpness in blades that are of this type thickness (.14” inches) so I was pleasantly surprised! The Meanstreak’s blade runs around a custom-designed pivot and a caged bearing and race washer system with a textured flipper tab for deployment. It boasts a 3.5" MagnaCut blade nestled in full titanium frame lock scales that feature cross-hatch machining for grip and textures (plus, it looks sweet). The knife has a deep carry titanium clip that is ambidextrous (hooray for us lefties!). For those unfamiliar with MagnaCut blade steel- it’s know for insane edge retention capabilities and overall toughness. Better yet, it’s a stainless steel ( and one of the highest performing stainless steels on the knife market at that). If you’re in the market for a really sturdy folder that offers a sleeker appearance and want to support a 100% USA made company, this might be a blade to consider. The aesthetics are on point as well (the overall blade shape reminds me of a shark).
